Record-breaking matric results

This year, 1059 Teneo learners completed their National Senior Certificate (NSC) exams, achieving our highest pass rate ever. Since our founding, over 3000 learners have now successfully obtained their NSC through Teneo.

SACAI and IEB highlights

• SACAI: Our learners achieved a pass rate of 82.18%, outperforming the national SACAI average by 8.28%.

• IEB: Our Grade 12 learners achieved an 85.2% pass rate, continuing the trend of academic excellence.

• Annika Terblanche (SACAI): 2nd in South Africa with 6 distinctions and an average of 88.71%.

• Ulrich Kuschke (SACAI): Among the elite 5 learners in SACAI with 7+ distinctions.

• Teneo learners claimed 6 of the 16 SACAI positions for learners with 6+ distinctions, outperforming all 58 SACAI-registered institutions.

• Ubuyisile Mtsweni (IEB): Teneo’s top IEB achiever with 4 distinctions and an average of 84.71%.

Subject excellence

• Annika Terblanche: SACAI’s best national performance in Mathematics with 98% and 2nd overall in the SACAI National Top 3.

• Kiara Knopfmacher: SACAI’s best national performance in English Home Language with 85%.

Distinction highlights

• Teneo learners accounted for 14.8% of SACAI distinctions.

• 27% of Teneo matriculants achieved at least one distinction.

• 410 subject distinctions were achieved in 2024.

Teneo’s British International learners excelled globally in the Pearson Edexcel awards, competing against over 2200 learners from 750 schools in 82 countries.
